Project overview

We have completed a 51-unit scheme for Jigsaw Homes, with the 32 units consisting of one-bedroom apartments all for affordable rent.

The site is located next to the historic Grade II listed Cavendish Mill.  The 32 apartments have been developed within a four-storey mill style apartment block fronting onto the canal, the block is located fronting the canal along with 12 homes on a separate parcel to the south west of the mill. A further five terraced houses and two semi-detached homes have also been built fronting Bentinck Street. The four-storey apartment block has been designed to 'complement the setting of Cavendish Mill'.

The site was historically used for industrial purposes, and in recent times it was used as a builders' yard until the late 1990s.
