Project overview

We have recently completed the development of 6 semi-detached dwellings, and 8 one bedroomed apartments of timber frame build with associated gardens/communal open spaces, car parking spaces, bin and cycle stores, roads and drainage. Additionally, mine/coal grouting was employed to fill leftover mining voids.

The installation of ASHPs, MVHRs and EV charging points were installed in each/for every unit.

Funding

Jigsaw Homes was unsure of funding requirements; therefore, we assisted them with the applications. Not only did they secure the funding, but we were able to bring the project timeline forward.

Social Values

As a thank you to the Public House, we tarmacked their car park free of charge in appreciation of their patience during the scheme.

Building relationships

We were able to further our connections with the local communities by giving back to local primary school, Ashgate Primary. In collaboration with WCHG, we supported them after discovering their car park was unsafe and they could not meet the full cost of repairs.

Through our Improving Lives Fund, we contributed over £10,000 to complete the resurfacing, directly improving accessibility and safety for pupils, staff and families. We also donated Easter Eggs and contributed to their summer missions. Furthermore, we donated resources, time and money to local charities, including Safespots and Be a Part of Change.
