“Casey were appointed by Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council to undertake repairs to the existing building fabric and internal fit out including office hub and interactive working space of the Grade II* listed annex building at Ashton Old Baths. The annex had fallen into a state of disrepair so meticulous planning and careful execution of the works were key whilst working in conjunction with the architect and heritage planners. The scheme has been successfully completed to a very high standard and delivered during a very difficult time for the construction industry.”

The White Lion project incorporated the refurbishment and conversion of an old public house. The existing building is a four-storey Grade II listed building with basements on Great Underbank in Stockport.
Working on behalf of Tameside Metropolitan Borough Council, our team successfully delivered the £3.1m final phase of the transformation of the former Ashton Old Baths site into a vibrant digital hub with workspace for businesses in the surrounding area.
